MORE INFO:

Sharkskin is a fabric with a distinctive sheen and a two-toned appearance that’s created by weaving together darker and lighter threads in a twill pattern.

Sharkskin became popular in the 1950s and 1960s, when Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack wore it in suits with skinny ties and fitted dress shirts. It has regained popularity in recent years.

Founded in the early 1900’s HBarC focused on the western market, and started to grow internationally. Tailor & Designer Seymour moved to California to open the Los Angeles office and established the Hollywood arm of the brand. As a maker of authentic western wear, and the popularity of western movies, many movies began to use HBarC. Catering to the Hollywood elite, HBarC supplied clothes for western movies clothing the likes of Gene Autry, Roy Rogers, John Wayne, Elvis Presley, John Travolta to name only a few.
